| West Haugh and Dunfallandy beats of the
River Tummel are fished off of the same permit. This permit allows the angler
access to some of the finest salmon fly fishing water on this river and at a
very reasonable cost. The fishings cover some 1.7km of river, mostly double
bank, and includes famous pools such as the Sawmill Stream, Poldour, the Bridge
Pool and Pool Treigh. While flyfishing has enjoyed the greatest success in the last few years, spinning with minnow and spoon has also accounted for a few nice fish. |

Sport can be found throughout the year
on this stretch of river, but is particularly enjoyable in the spring and early
summer. To help preserve dwindling numbers of spring salmon, all salmon caught
before 1 April should be returned to the river. From 1 April onwards, it is
hoped that most fish will also be returned. |
